Weight Loss/Maintenance
Related: About this forum30 pounds down, 60 to go! Bonus - I spent yesterday
washing and bagging my big clothes for donating to the thrift store. Then my daughter found a whole bin of clothes I'd set aside for when I lost weight! I thought those clothes were all donated. I tend to dress conservatively - oxford shirts, crew neck sweaters, khaki pants, so all I have to do is wash and press them.
I will need new underwear - and now my bra size is easy to find at stores. I can try them on instead of guesssing and ordering from a catalog!
I'm starting to show an actual waist line for the first time since the last baby was born - the baby who just graduated college, so it's been a while!

(15,210 posts)The best part is that the more you lose, the more stuff you'll find to wear at the thrift stores--no point in dropping stuff off if you're not going to go in and browse.

(45 posts)You sound like me. I have lost about 30 with 60 to go, and digging out old clothes I have saved. This time I'm determined to succeed. So I know exactly how exciting this is!!
