Observations about the man v. woman medical experience

Woman: I'm having a sharp pain in my lower right abdomen, sort of close to the hip bone.
Doctor: Here are three scripts for anti-anxiety meds. We can add more when we see you in two weeks.

Man: I'm feeling acute anxiety, to the point that it significantly interferes with daily life.
Doctor: Well, your bloodwork looks good. Well see you in six months.

Woman: (having seen multiple doctors in the interim) the pain is unbearable.

Finally diagnosed with endometriosis.
