The talking point is Trump didn't do anything in particular to gays during his four years. That includes trans of course.
Also that he had some apparent gay support in 2016, mostly hangers on of creepy Milo.
Let's get real about this. For one thing, Republicans are far more radical on gay issues (and particularly trans issues) and Trump is certainly no moderating influence. Remember Trump didn't run on getting rid of abortion. This is like that.
A bit of history: Mussolini was OK with Jews when he came to power and even had a few Jewish supporters.
But when politics demanded it, he followed the lead of Hitler on the "Jewish question".
This is the most important presidential election since the end of WW2.
Think. Again.
