An entire ballpark boos MLB pitcher Anthony Bass after his anti-Pride temper tantrum
Toronto Blue Jays pitcher Anthony Bass made his first appearance Wednesday night in front of the hometown fans after sharing an anti-LGBTQ+ social media post. And he was booed out of the stadium. Talk about some sweet, sweet comeuppance.
Earlier this week, Bass, a 35-year-old journeyman, reposted a a video to his Instagram story that promoted the conservative boycotts of Bud Light and Target. Previously anonymous, Bass rose to national infamy earlier this spring, when he publicly ripped a flight attendant for not picking up his young daughter’s “popcorn mess.”
In related news, Bass’ Twitter account is now deleted. Too bad his Instagram hasn’t disappeared as well.

The Giants spoke again with The Athletic, stating that Aubrey's political views have nothing to do with why they aren't inviting him to the celebration and it instead has everything to do with what they view as "misogyny" and "common decency".

In 2010, with the San Francisco Giants out the postseason picture with 30 games left in the regular season, Huff decided to wear his wife's red thong and boldly proclaimed the Giants would go 20-10 in the remainder of the season.
The Giants did just that, defeating the San Diego Padres on the final game of the season to clinch a playoff berth and then going all the way to the World Series, which they won after beating the Texas Rangers 4-1. The underwear became instantly known as "The Rally Thong" and Huff famously held it aloft during the Giants' Victory Parade in November 2010.
In an interview with The Mercury News three years ago, Huff acknowledged wearing a woman's underwear would not have gone down well in his native Texas.
"I'm pulling out a red rally thong—by the way I'm high as a kite doing that, waving that rally thong around," he said. "I'm a guy from Texas. I get shot for doing stuff like that."
