i want to post this here, and extend my wish that everyone here could live in a place like this.
you know why i love my hood?
cuz the other day, the day after roe fell, i looked out my window and saw my neighbors.
a lovely lesbian couple who had a baby girl last year. they have 2 great dogs that they walk, together, a couple times a day.
so i watched her belly grow, then the stroller joined the parade.
and that day, mom held the baby's hands as she toddled toward other mom.
we exchanged a few words over the traffic, and i wished i believed in prayers, as i sure wanted to say one for their safety and continued happiness.
thank ja i live in a hood where i know that anyone who tried to come for them would be met w an army of outrage, but still.

I knew a gay couple, best guys in the world. Felt if anyone came for them they would have to go through me.
