(18,458 posts)Even in our darkest hours--and we've all been there at one point or another--we are all one people, united by common ties. No one need ever feel alone. We are ALL in this together.

(5 posts)I do need to become active in the GLBTQ community. My sister's husband tried attacking me recently. I kept him from hitting me without even hurting him and can't even visit her anymore. My heart is broken, and I do feel alone in this world sometimes--but still seek the beauty in it.

(5 posts)There have been times when the only thing keeping me alive is the fact that my cat needs me. That's no small thing though. Finding him another home would not be an option because he needs me specifically, and I need him, too.
