1. There is zero evidence most of the hostages are dead. And if there were much evidence, you would see such claims periodical appearing in mainstream media.

As for the hostages, unless proof is shown that they are still alive, many of us have very low expectations that they are. This doubt grows daily. Its beginning to look to be pure imagination to believe they are alive and well.

Also, Hamas did not hunt just to rape and slaughter. They did it because they believe it makes it more likely Israel's siege of Gaza will end, as will the occupation of the West Bank. They might be right. There have been articles saying there might be a new push for negotiation, owing to the 20K+ Palestinians killed. Also, they did it to trade hostages for prisoners. That part has already worked.

That is not the truth. That is wishful thinking. The comparison with Hitler is outright silly because Hitler killed 1 out of 3 Jews. Hamas killed 1 out of 15,000 Jews. 100 years from now, this event will be unknown except by a few historians.

In fairness to you, a lot of people use this "till the end of time" claim to rally the troops. Henry the Fifth told his troops, their victory will be "told from now till the end of the world." You probably never even heard of their victory. And incidentally Henry the Fifth committed war crimes no worse than Hamas. Henry ordered all prisoners of war slaughtered.
