US turns up pressure on Cuba, which was heavily reliant on money from Venezuela - DW News
Just over a week on from the capture of Venezuela's President Nicolas Maduro, the US is turning up the pressure on Maduro's key ally of Cuba. The communist-run island has endured decades of punishing US sanctions, and is heavily dependent on financial assistance from Venezuela.
