In this video, we break down why Chechnyas push for independence from Russia is no longer a fringe idea but a real nightmare scenario for the Kremlin. As Vladimir Putin remains trapped in a grinding war in Ukraine, his grip over Russias regions is weakening, and nowhere is this more dangerous than in Chechnya. Ramzan Kadyrov has spent two decades building a state within a state, complete with his own army, security services, ideology, and power structure that answers to himnot Moscow. With Kadyrovs health declining and his obsession with legacy growing, the question is no longer if Chechnya could challenge the Kremlin, but when and under what conditions. This video explores why the current moment is uniquely favorable for a Chechen breakaway, how Russias exhausted military would struggle to respond, and why Putin cannot afford a second war in the Caucasus while Ukraine continues to drain men, money, and equipment.
We also examine the terrifying domino effect a Chechen rebellion could trigger across the Russian Federation, from Dagestan and Ingushetia to Tatarstan, Bashkortostan, and even Kaliningrad. Chechnya has a long history of armed resistance, a militarized population, and leadership that understands how to destabilize Moscow without winning a conventional war. If Putin fails to crush a Chechen uprising immediately, it would signal to other regions that the Kremlin is no longer in control. This is not just about Chechnyaits about the potential internal collapse of Russia itself. From the limits of Russian military power to the psychological impact of losing control over a rebellious republic, this video explains why Chechnyas independence movement could become the beginning of the end for Putins centralized rule and why the Russian Federation may be facing its most dangerous internal crisis in decades.

Putin and Russia do not have the resources to fight two wars

(8,614 posts)2. In the old Soviet days Putin would have been dealt
with internally by the party/military. I'm not yearning for the old Soviet Union but they at least took out the trash when someone went overboard.
