A former footballer has been named as Georgia's new president amid a constitutional crisis.
Mikheil Kavelashvili election was boycotted by the opposition, who have described the process as 'illegitimate.' The ruling pro-Russian Georgian Dream party claimed victory in a disputed election in October. Georgia's current president Salome Zourabichvili has refused to step down.
