"Sanctions are a joke." That's one thing that comes to mind after reading the report from the KSE Institute at the Kyiv School of Economics about the Russian shadow fleet. These ships are what keep Russian crude flowing to customers abroad and what allows Russia to largely circumvent the 60 euro price cap imposed by the G7 countries and the European Union. Benjamin Hilgenstock, one of the authors of the report, joins us at the Bottom Line to explain how the fleet was assembled and how to neutralize it.
