Went to annualcreditreport site to check the reports

Had to answer the usual questions: name of bank, current or former employer, and then.... based on date of birth, the astronomical sign. Really! It was my spouse so had to confirm it.

And then I wondered: I think that mine is on cusp - August 23 - which I have seen as both Leo and Virgo... Hoping they won't ask this when I am checking for my own.

I try to remember to check the reports at least once a year, for either of us.

Just in case you or anyone else is not aware, www.creditkarma.com is a site that allows you to check your credit scores and full reports as often as you like, the scores from both Transunion and Equifax are updated regularly and they will email you with alerts when there is a significant change.

There are ads for credit cards and other financial products, but it isn't overwhelming and the site is free.

I was likewise born on August 23 and could never decide if I was supposed to be a Leo or a Virgo. Then, many years ago, I got my chart done and learned that the sun moved into Virgo a half hour before I was born. Couldn't be more on the cusp than that.

You don't need to be particularly into astrology to wonder what your sign ought to be. Here's a link to an on-line site that will give you a free horoscope. https://www.astro.com/index.htm Click on the link for free daily horoscope. You don't even have to give an email address, just your name (and your screen name here would do), date, time, and location of birth. A chart will pop up and the first planet listed in the informational part will be the sun. I just double checked mine, and it shows the sun as 0 Vir 46'53".

I am not at all trying to make a case for the validity of astrology, just that you can clear up your understandable confusion about your sun sign in about a minute. Have fun!

I don't know the hour. Parents are both gone. I know it was in the evening because mom finished mopping the floor before she left for the hospital.

Otherwise, make a best guess based on what you do know.

If you're lucky, anywhere in the evening of August 23 the year you were born will be several hours from the change from Leo to Virgo.
