The US national debt is going to skyrocket upwards under Trump - Richard J Murphy

The Republicans in the USA always say they hate debt, except when it is massively increased by Donald Trump as a result of his tax cuts for the wealthy. Then it’s OK. But in a world increasingly hostile to the US they might have to think again.

Good analysis. One thing he does not mention, however is that once there is less demand for the dollar (and US debt), interest rates on US debt will spike, and the US will spend more and more of it’s revenue to pay interest on the debt. There will be no money to spend on other projects.
