CAPE CORAL, Fla. The line between night and morning was blurred Saturday in Cape Coral. Last call had come and gone, and the lingering crowd was beginning to disperse.
Cape Coral Police watched the clock click past three in the morning, yet the street outside the establishments was still a frenzy of activity.
Can you go over and take care of that guy?
A random citizen approached the patrol car, concerned about a half-naked man turning the evening celebrations into chaos. He spit in my friends face and was running around grabbing people. Yep, it's the stuff of numerous Elmore Leonard books and I think he soft pedals....

.....Florida Man, may be better equipped to handle various situations without resorting to violence. Or am I just being naive?

....involving alcohol, alligators, not wearing pants, body parts stuck in inappropriate places, and other insanities, perpetrated by folks of all complexions, that they handle it better than, say, a county Sheriff in Central Idaho.

there is crazy...then there's Florida crazy...I lived in South Florida during the 80's....mercy...
