Updating my Dragon Dictate, new OS, and well, it is not working as it should

I use it from time to time, and if 3.0 works well, even more often, now that got a GOOD mike for recording newscasts.

end up waiting months for some software packages to work properly. It's a simple fact of OS X version upgrades that things break; Apple isn't nearly as concerned with backwards compatibility, even just a single version, as MS. Sounds like you need to wait for an explicitly-certified 10.9-compatible upgrade.
