forcing bluetooth connections

so, i have a little sony bt speaker. it's not that old, but it only connects to my ipad, not my phone or my laptop. they just cant see it.
any thoughts?

1. You need to put it in pairing mode

Find the BT button and hold it down for 5-7 seconds, or until the blue light starts flashing fast. Then your phone should be able to see it.

usually hooks up to the pad just by turning it on, but put it in pairing mode, and nada.

Even when things are 100% working, pairing it will prevent others from doing so.

unfortunately, this dilemma is caused by the fact that the pad got dunked in the sink yesterday.
it's working, but flaky. sitting in some rice rn. but may be hopeless.

iPad and put it in pairing mode. If it can’t find the iPad … worth a shot.

Take the iPad completely out of the equation and try pairing the other devices.
