Alsobrooks will be the Democratic nominee for the 2024 MD US Senate Election to replace Cardin.

Alsobrooks is the only black female candidate in the Democratic primary. If elected to the US Senate, Alsobrooks will be the 1st black,2nd female US Senator from MD. Alsobrooks was elected and re-elected Prince George’s County Attorney in 2010 and 2014 and elected and re-elected Prince George’s County Executive in 2018 and 2022. Alsobrooks is popular with Kamala Harris, Chris Van Hollen, Steny Hoyer, Wes Moore, Aruna Miller, Anthony Brown, Brooke Lierman, and Glenn Ivey.
A primary race between Alsobrooks,Raskin,Sarbanes,and Trone will put Alsobrooks in the top. Alsobrooks will win the Democratic nomination if we add Ivey and Will Jawando.

I am proud to have served Prince George’s County as a prosecutor and as County Executive. I recognize there aren’t a lot of people in public office that live like, think like, and look like those they represent and I always strive to put my constituents first.
