Indigenous group tries to put up a teepee on Parliament Hill tonight

to protest Canada's 150 Celebrations. Police breaking it up. Arrested 9 people from the group and those demonstrating in solidarity. Don't know how i feel about this. For sure people can have Canada Day be what it means to them personally. If it means genocide well that is the truth. But I don't want the police to be distracted from security Saturday. They already have put up barriers so nobody could drive a truck into the crowds. Maybe let the tent go up and allow protests mingled in with celebrants? What could be more Canadian than allowing free speech.
