My heart goes out to their loved ones and friends.

So young, so sad.

They had so much life ahead. So sad.

both have many friends and loved ones at their age.

Geez, Mackenzie looks like he is still in high school.

that these young pilots lost their lives.

Two young men at the start of their journeys only to have it taken away in an instant.
I am sure the controller will bear this enormous burden for the remainder of this life.

I’ve spent 47 years working in this field, part of it with the FAA and I can state with certainty after retiring a few months ago that I’ve never seen the environment as low as it is now. It’s as if the Administration wants to drown and privatize it. The “probable cause” will be issued but these two young men’s families won’t find any solace in an NTSB report, but we can honor them and keep their fires burning but getting involved in what ever way we can.

May the angels light their way...

No words. I hope their families and friends find comfort as time passes. Gut wrenching.

I hope the folks who were injured in that accident fully recover.

My heart breaks for the pilots, the truck drivers, and my fellow controllers. All, and their families, had the single worst night of their lives. It is easy to assign fault to this incident, but the blame lies solely with the FAA. Our airspace system is crumbling before our eyes. This is not a safe time to fly.
