I'm thinking the apparent temperature turndown of Trump bullying Canada is so the soon to be called Canadian election will not be fought on Trump's threats on tariffs and annexation and so the Liberals will not win and a renewed divided Canada will give Conservative Pierre Poilievre the win. Right now Canadians are unified and that is bad for Conservatives. Don't do it. Don't buy it. Fight the election on the biggest threat Canada has ever faced because Trump is going to shoot us in the face no matter what. This is the article that inspired me:
