The person who should be most worried this morning is, of course, Bill Shorten, the Labor leader with a charisma bypass. A boring man, bereft of bright ideas or even of personality, and the tool of the right-wing of the Labor Party. He will lose to Turnbull at the next election, for sure, so I guess the next leadership challenge should come from the Labor ranks, hopefully well before we go to the polls.

Abbott hasn't yet written his resignation letter, and Turnbull can't be sworn in until he does. Both Rudd and Gillard resigned officially the day they lost leadership.

And if he can hang on until Friday, Abbott stands to collect a $10 million pension; if not, he will get his normal parliamentary pension.

word is that Abbott went on a bender when he was ousted. It would be typical of his immature attitude.

Since Turnbull has been in power all that we get now is a blow by blow from the polls....haven't the media got anything better to do with their time...The only poll that I trust is the one that happens on the day of the election.
Anyway Abbott started of in the BLACK when he became PM ands slowly went down hill after 6 months,so whjat are the pollsters going tpo do when Turnbull goes 'belly up'???????
