Help fellow Dems ensure they are not victims of "exact match signature" and other voter suppression shenanigans.
Early and absentee ballot voters will never know if their votes are being counted in this election if they don't check this out NOW. After the election is too late.
Tick-tock...1 day and counting.

(905 posts)Thank you for expressing appreciation for the time I've spent helping fellow Dems with this critical, time-sensitive issue. As I'm sure you would agree, the only thing worse than someone not voting is someone who does vote, only to be disenfranchised.
Sorry to have triggered you; that was certainly not my intent. Another longtime DUer had urged me to post a link to the story under each state forum so that people who get lost in the overwhelming number of "General Discussion" posts, but who do check their own states, particularly for info on their local elections, could make sure this was not happening to them.
Being relatively new to the site, it didn't occur to me that under "Latest Threads," this would look like the same message being posted 50 times in a row, even though the postings were to different forums---LOL! In fact, this didn't dawn on me at all until I saw your post and I thought it odd that a fellow Arizonan was responding to me from a Wyoming forum. And then it hit me, duh!
So, here's the good news that will hopefully warm your heart: As a result of kicking this story so that more people have a chance to combat voter suppression, the underlying message has made it out of DU to a wider audience. Bloggers reading the story have messaged me that they churned out their own stories as a result with links to Secretary of State website addresses where their readers could check their ballots.
Based on just what a few of them shared with me, it looks like over 100 other voters among their readers have checked and discovered problems with their ballots. Now at least these people have one more day to get down to their County Recorder's office and turn that around, and they never would have known otherwise. Not a huge number in the big scheme of things, but, as I know you also know, sometimes only a few persons are all it takes to change the course of an election.
In light of all this, I've decided kicking is a good thing if it helps a just cause and, hopefully, you will consider that too. I'm hoping 100 more are saved today!
Best wishes, asiliveandbreathe, and, speaking of kicking, here's to booting McSally to the curb---we hope!
