We tend to pull bid-50% of total votes cast and they control 67% of the legislature thanks to gerrymandering.

They are honing their craft and getting very good at destroying democracy.

(23,105 posts)7. The roots of this lay in the 2010 midterm debacle when too many on the Left didn't vote,
and in 1 election the entire state flipped from total Democratic control to total Republican control which haunts us to this day. That's also the election where Ron Johnson beat Russ Feingold for the Senate seat for the first time.
Choices, meet consequences.
