Related: About this forumToday is a good day to check your voter status.
I was trying to log into my E-ZPass account this morning and wanted to see if other Va government sites were down. So I tried my voter registration site to find my polling place and my representatives changed. It would have been nice if they notified me of these changes.
No longer in Connolly's district. Who I've loved voting for and been represented well by for over a decade. Now rep'ed by Abigail Spanberger which I don't mind as she's a solid Democrat.
Also, moved from Luke Torian's state house district. The new map moved me into a Republican district. Went from Torian who won his seat 70% to 30% with over fifteen thousand votes. To a district, that was won by a Republican R. Campbell 73% to 26% with over twenty-four thousand votes. Campbell ran against an idiot that stated " I'm not towing a party line."
At least I stay in Pike's state Senate district. So the new map is a mixed bag for me.

All four voters in my family received a letter from the Commonwealth which verified which district we were in Fairfax.
