Poacher kills rare pair of albino deer near NC line in Virginia

A true albino deer and her albino fawn were shot and killed illegally in Patrick County, Virginia before daylight on Monday, and now a reward is being for the arrest of whomever is responsible.

The albino doe had been seen in the area for several years but just this year showed up with a fawn who also was albino, an occurrence that is exceedingly rare.

Patrick County is on the state line with North Carolina, northeast of Mount Airy.

“We get an albino deer once in a while in Patrick County,” said Game Warden Dale Owens. “But never have I ever seen two together. That’s something that very rarely ever happens.”

Patrick County Sheriff Dan Smith’s office is offering a $250 reward to anyone who can provide information about the illegal killing of the two albino deer.

Daaaamn, big spender's gonna crack this case in no time.
Please tell me that's a typo.

Warren said he believed it was a good omen to have an albino deer on his property and it was disappointing to see the animals lying dead in the field Monday morning.

“They apparently came back and cut the tails off so they could keep them as trophies,” said Warren.

Asshole or assholes imitating dim donnie's idiot offspring. That's what'll sink 'em--they won't be able to stop themselves from bragging about their actions.
