Deadline to register for Texas' Nov. 4 election

Texans’ next chance to vote to shape state and local policies will be in the Nov. 4 elections.

Texas voters must be registered to vote by Oct. 6, and early voting begins Oct. 20.

Oct. 6 is the last day to register to vote and to submit an address change for the general election.

You can report an address or name change online. You should do this if you’ve moved since the last time you voted or have legally changed your name.
