Reefer Madness Has Taken Hold Of Lt. Governor Dan Patrick

Reefer Madness is a 1936 propaganda film. The film was intended to be a cautionary tale warning parents about the supposed dangers of marijuana use. However, its over-the-top depictions of marijuana's effects and its melodramatic tone have since made it a cult classic, more comedy than cautionary tale.

The original Reefer Madness warned us that teenagers would smoke a little weed and go completely bananas. Turns out, Lt. Governor Dan Patrick doesn’t need to smoke anything—he’s gone full bananas just thinking about it.

This week, Patrick put out a statement, claiming that in the upcoming session, he would ban all forms of THC in Texas.

The entire Texas State government is basically made up of corrupt and despicable people, which in my opinion reflects on the entire state. I am a Texan and it has disgusted me for the last 30 years.

Just think of our past Governors - Bush, Perry, Abbott and that doesn't begin the Legislators.

Embarrassed to be a Texan these days.

Back when he was trying to be a Limbaugh imitator on his AM hate radio station in Houston. Heard him speak in tongues on air, once.

One of those guys whose touch turns things to shit. Over and over again.

And fool the media into just replaying the same stuff. I’m surprised he hasn’t been mentioned for an administration spot. He would fit in since he was able to bankrupt a sports bar in Houston.
