Martindale man gets 6 months in jail for killing unarmed driver.

Unbelievable to me.

This is an excerpt - much more troubling testimony at the link -

https://www.expressnews.com/hill-country/article/terry-turner-martindale-sentence-adil-dghoughi-18556796.php

This is the story of Terry Turner, a Martindale man (a small town just outside San Marcus, Tx) who shot Adil Dghoughi, a Moroccan immigrant (31), after Dghoughi pulled into his driveway. Family members have said Dghoughi was lost. Turner testified during the trial that he had awakened to use the bathroom when he saw an unfamiliar car pull into the driveway. He testified that he picked up a pistol and ran outside. Dghoughi put the car in reverse and began backing up when Turner confronted him, according to witness testimony. Turner testified that he struck the driver’s side window twice with the handgun, then fired through the window, striking Dghoughi in the face before he could drive away.

Prosecutors said Turner’s actions were not reasonable, as Dghoughi was in a car with rolled-up, dark-tinted windows — meaning Turner couldn’t see who was in the car — and Dghoughi was trying to leave the scene when Turner shot him. No gun or other weapon was found in the car with Dghoughi, law enforcement officials have testified.

Video taken from a Caldwell County sheriff’s deputy body camera showed Turner at the scene asking whether Dghoughi was male or female, which prosecutors said proved he was unable to see into the car when he fired his gun. Turner’s defense team argued Turner was trying to protect his home and property, and that in the darkened driveway he thought Dghoughi was pointing a weapon at him.

He relives over and over the incident of him killing an innocent man whose only fault was turning into the wrong driveway.

Like Rittenhouse these murders will someday feel the full consequences of what they have done !

You would think someone would feel remorse, guilt, etc. after recklessly killing someone, but there are people who lack normal human emotion. I guess I would call them sociopaths, but I'm not a psychiatrist.

Actually, it will just confirm his assumption of white privilege and his "right" to reckless gunslinging.
