Related: About this forumReminder!!! Tomorrow May 6 is the last day to vote
in TExas Municipal Elections. (Mayor, City Council, ISD Trustees and in Tarrant, the Water Board)
Don't know about anywhere else but Tarrant County was at 5.7 % of total eligible voters actually voting (as of Tuesday)
This is why we can't have nice things. I am so nervous for my City Councilwoman I am going out to knock on doors until dark, and I would do it all day tomorrow except I will be an Election Judge all day.
For crying out loud, get to the polls tomorrow!!! There is no excuse to not vote in the election which chooses the public servants closest to you.
If you live in Fort Worth, vote for Elizabeth Beck, or Jared Williams if either is on your ballot. The PAC from northeast Tarrant that funded O'Hare is dumping money into these two races, hoping to get the Democrats off the council.
The mailers from this group are despicable.

(22,819 posts)we will have a runoff for one seat; we have a good candidate in that race. If she wins, we have better chances of keeping things sane.
