Nashville Student Walkout this Monday...allies welcome to come support!!
I received this via e-mail today. ("NOAH" is the organization Nashville Organized for Action and Hope):
"Nashville Student Walk Out
Young people from across Nashville are walking out of their classrooms tomorrow at 10:13 am, the time last Monday when the shooter killed three Covenant elementary students. The student leaders are assembling at the Tennessee Capitol to say "We have had enough!" TIRRC Votes, Equity Alliance and other organizations will rally in solidarity with our young people, and NOAH should stand with them as well.
Joan Baez said "Action is an antidote for despair!" Please come with your concerns, your energy, a friend or two and a sign! Our legislators should choose our children over guns and our actions can push them in that direction."
