Tennessee is one of eight states that use partisan elections to initially select judges and then use retention elections to determine whether judges should remain on the bench.

Hope this helps..ain't easy..although Progressives in AZ ID'd 3 judges, by mailer, ..just say NO..

When I lived in Columbus, OH, the second I got out of my car to go vote, I was swarmed with Dem volunteers passing out cheat sheets on judges & other contentious races. Loved it!

I wish this were the case here. 😓
