Democratic-aligned PAC launches attack ad against Marsha Blackburn in Tennessee's US Senate race
As the U.S. Senate race continues to heat up, U.S. Rep. Marsha Blackburn is the subject of the latest attack ad funded by a third-party organization to hit Tennessee airwaves.
The 30-second ad, funded by Democratic-aligned Majority Forward, begins with a narrator saying the Tennessee congressman is known as "Air Blackburn."
"In Washington, Congresswoman Blackburn voted herself pay raises seven times," the ad continues, citing votes ranging from 2007 to 2017.
The ad also notes that Blackburn in 2012 voted in favor legislation that would provide federal lawmakers with "taxpayer-funded health care for life."
