How to identify a conservator

Not much else to say. If you suspect you were placed under a conservatorship against your will or without your full knowledge, how, in the state of South Carolina, do you discover this as a potentially “conserved” individual without knowing who would be the appointed conservator(s) or trust managers etc?

to interview the proposed conservatee, and examine that person's living conditions, medical needs, etc. In general, the court may appoint an attorney to represent the proposed conservatee's interests. Also, a conservatorship petition can request either conservatorship of the person, or of the finances, or both. The focus of the investigation is to determine the conservatee's competence to care for themselves.
