All the more reason not to. Do not fall into the republican talking points. Nothing wrong with the way he dresses, he is relatable in every way. He will change when he is on the floor of the senate.

When he first appeared on the scene, I wasn't sure what was going on.

I did find a photo of him dressed in a suit. He should switch it up. He's not 19, he's running for governor and the hoodie doesn't work.

If there is even off the rack that would fit him, the fit would be terrible.

He is going to need custom and that is going to cost some serious money.

I think he could look great.

His wife is a great dresser, petite, fashionable and adorable.

I'd love to see Fetterman retain the common man vibe but get a bit sexy in his style.
Get some polish to his look.

I think he could look really good.
And still retain the vibe he is going for.

But probably not during the election if his poll numbers are good right now.
Too big a risk to mix it up now.

That he is different, and represents ordinary people.

Typically I might agree with the idea of him wearing traditional clothing, but I looked
at his pictures with him wearing a suit and it is off putting.

He is a very large, hulking kind of guy with a stern face and expression.

The suit and tie make him look scary.

I like him better in softer shirts, hoodies, etc.
He looks less menacing. More friendly and approachable.

It is interesting that his wife is quite the clothes horse, she wears very fashionable clothing.
She is petite and adorable. She would certainly know how to dress her husband if he or she thought
it was a good idea.

I love fashion and design, love looking at red carpet looks for men and women.

Looking at many pictures of Fetterman in various kinds of clothing, it is a challenge.

I saw a picture of him in a dark shirt for a portrait type photo.
It looked bad. And a polo, the same.

He has such a huge hulking torso, all you see is a bolt of fabric around a mountain of a man.
Who kind of glares at you.

(I love the guy don't get me wrong, I am just going fashionista here.)

I can see why he likes the sweatshirt with a hoodie.
It softens the whole look, especially around his face.
And the sweat shirt breaks up the mass of fabric look.

Personally for dress up I would like to see him in a navy blue dressy jacket, very well tailored to perfection,
over a dressy t-shirt. I would go for a bit of a sexy younger man look.

Not a formal suit and tie.

So yes I agree with you, I would like to see him kick it up a notch.
In a more youthful, polished, a bit sexy tailored jacket and tee-shirt.

His wife by her clothing choices would know what I mean.
That said, it could look awful.

He truly needs a stylist and tailor.

A white shirt would be blinding.

I agree with you, I would like to see him in some other outfits.

What is the question.

I posted upthread some ideas.

But he needs a special stylist as he is a fashion challenge.

I'd like to see him a bit more polished young man, somewhat sexier.

... because he was sworn in as our Lt. Governor of Pennsylvania while wearing them. Also he has done a few pressers in a suit and tie.

I believe that Big John will revise his mode of dress once he enters the Senate. For now he should be comfortable in the clothes he wants to wear while campaigning. It has become his personal trademark.
