an insurrection against the government he pledged to defend. As a Major he was in line for a promotion to Lt. Colonel, then full Colonel and then who knows after that...maybe into the general ranks.

Officers are supposed to have good decision making skills. Not so in his case.

... He was right - 1/6 has seriously changed his life.

Once the Feds are done with him, he still has a dance in the USMC "justice" system. It will not be pretty.
