How did everyone fare during the storms?

Do we have any Moore members on DU? Seems like OKC metro really got hit over the last couple of weeks.

Hope everyone is OK.

I'm in Tulsa, and I just had some downed tree limbs (that were dead anyway), but that's it.

That was the worst storm I've ever seen. I finally ended up grabbing the dog and running for cover. When we decided to leave a couple of hours later, I could bare get home because the roads were so flooded out. I ended up sleeping on the couch so I could be near the TV.

The only thing that storm lacked was locusts and an earthquake. Seriously nasty.

Feel better since reading your post. Glad you came through it okay, hope more storms aren't headed your way.

You know, times like these, I'm very glad my parents left Oklahoma when I was a year old and moved to the Northwest. Have been through a couple of major earthquakes since then, but they are nothing compared with the tornadoes my home state has been dealing with.

Stay safe!

Bartlesville got lucky again. It seems as if the bad storms split and go to the north and south of us. (Knock on wood, I shouldn't be talking about it. When you talk about good luck, sometimes something will happen to mess it up.) We took a drive over to Pawhuska today, and on the way back drove past lakes Hulah and Copan. There were no signs of major damage, and the lakes are well filled without being dangerous. Here in Bartlesville there were some branches down, and we got a LOTS of rain. Nobody got hurt, and there was no serious damage to property.
