Camp Quest Oklahoma is trying to raise money for this summers camping session and they partnered with a local restaurant for a fundraiser last night. The idea was that if you ate at Oklahoma Joes BBQ in the city of Broken Arrow, 10% of your receipt would go back to Camp Quest.....
That was the case until Camp Quest supporters arrived at the restaurant and saw this on the door

(41,832 posts)Unfortunately, in Broken Arrow the restaurant would face a severe backlash if the fundies found out. He is better off to take the bad press from the left, than what he would get from the right/Bible-bangers.

(16,993 posts)The Bible says, "do unto others..." and I'm pretty sure this isn't the way Joe Davidson would want to be treated. It is, after all, a for profit restaurant that he's running, not a church.
I was planning on calling Inhofe as well, not that it will do any good.
