Portman, DeWine call out protesters in front of Dr. Acton's house

What is with these idiots....

And good for the supporters who came to sit on the grass and form a barrier.

Portman’s words echoed those of Gov. Mike DeWine.

“Members of my cabinet work hard, but I set the policy. When you don’t like the policy, again — you can demonstrate against me — that’s fair game,” the governor said during his daily press briefing Monday.

“But to bother the family of Dr. Acton, that’s not fair game. It’s not right.”

Both men were responding to a protest outside Acton’s home over the weekend by those unhappy with the restrictions she has issued relating to the coronavirus pandemic. Some of the protesters were openly carrying guns.

After DeWine spoke out Monday, a few protesters showed up again outside Acton’s home a couple of hours later. This time, a group of neighbors and other supporters sat in the grass along the sidewalk to form a wall shielding the health director’s property.

Bexley Police have been closely monitoring the protests, but have made no arrests.

With like sandbags stacked up, and a huge, powerful rifle and scope on a tripod.

I'm not even remotely kidding.

She looks like she’s been through the wringer on tv today. I’d imagine she’s worried sick about her family’s safety and her own as well. It was reported that some of the idiots that were in front of her house said there wouldn’t be any violence-yet. The stupid and hate runs deep in Ohio.

I wasn't aware Portman had paid off the mortgage on any single vertebra of his spine. Not that he won't go back to puling and whining at the hem of Trump's robes tomorrow, but credit where credit is due, I guess...
