Related: About this forumPortman verdict in before Trump impeachment trial begins: Not guilty
Rob Portman will listen carefully next month as a juror in the U.S. Senate impeachment trial of the president of the United States.
However, barring the emergence of startling new evidence against Donald Trump, the Republican from Ohio already has reached his verdict and it's firm: Not guilty.

Portman also benefited bigly from the tRump effect in 2016. He might get a mid-term lift in '22 after we retake the White House, but I'd like to think that - to your point - the right opponent could unseat him.
I'll be working to make it a reality.
