I was kind of hoping he’d be the next president at OSU. I think he would do a good job for them.

I have heard that there’s a very group of boosters who weren’t happy with Tressel. Some group right outside of Columbus- forgot the name. Tressel didn’t kiss their rings enough or at least not in the same way ( they may have been working to get Urban there too) so when the heat came down over what seems trivial now - tattoos- they didn’t back him so OSU didn’t back him and he got shafted.

He has a long good history with the Penguins. Trust me as a Marshall fan they broke our hearts several times.

I always sorta felt he was treated very unfairly by OSU and I can’t believe they’d come back to him hat in hand and want him to take over as president. Giving credit where credit is due, at least he’s not an ass kisser. He’s been very good in his job here at YSU and works hard. Took a pay cut over what the trustees first offered him, too. I think he genuinely likes it here.
