(5,756 posts)is the Senator from Tennessee. 1. Nothing to do with NC redistricting problems. And 2, He is Senator for all of Tennessee. Districts mean nothing to him personally. But you did get he's retiring right. Google it!

(47,315 posts)State legislators draw their own district lines in most states so there is ample opportunity for gerrymandering. Politicians choose their voters. It should be voters choose their politicians. Some states do it by independent commission.

(47,315 posts)and that our state senate just didn't exist. It was easily proved that our state senate does exist and has a website. It was weird. Maybe some states don't have a senate?
