(224,278 posts)2. I could get behind that, we know that they cheat. And getting rid of the Electoral College would be a big step.
On the news the other night they showed a comparison of those presidential candidates who won the popular vote going back to 2000 - to show that in this recent election TFG got almost the least of all. And on that list were Al Gore in 2000 and Hillary Clinton in 2016 since they won the popular vote in both instances.

Hence the effort to disenfranchise voters. So yes, recounts dont work because they only change results in that handful of cases that are razor thin.
