The hospital was trying to pull a fast one because they need her bed and will likely get better reimbursement from paying customers who have private insurance and not the Medicaid she has.

They most likely get a flat rate from Medicaid. They can make more money by using that bed for frequent turnover of complex patients who require a higher level of care and therfore make more money for the hospital and its shareholders.

The supposed pro-lifers cared naught when the state of Texas (republican gov, republican Prez) deliberately killed living baby Sun Hudson against the mother's wishes because he was an inconvenience to the state.

It is not a matter of life to the supposed pro-lifers.

It is a matter of control.
