Deadline to register for primary election is Saturday

Saturday is the last day to register to vote in June 24’s primary election, according to the Niagara County Board of Elections.

The Niagara County Board of Elections office on Main Street in Lockport will be open extended hours several days to accommodate registration: 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. Thursday; and 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday. Normal office hours are 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday.

Voter registration forms are available on the Board of Elections website (elections.niagara.ny.us), at all post offices, most banks, public libraries, town and city halls and at the Board of Elections office. Anyone who has changed their address since they last voted must re-register to be eligible to vote.
