New York City parks are getting some green.
The city is restarting more than 100 stalled construction projects costing $417 million at parks and playgrounds, Mayor Adams announced Sunday.
The 104 undertakings range from rebuilding a basketball court at Chelsea Park in Manhattan to revamping the bathhouse at McCarren Park in Brooklyn and installing fitness equipment at the Bronxs Ewen Park, according to the Parks Department. The plans also include nearly a dozen tree-planting projects.
Adams touted the effort as part of the citys comeback from the ravages of the coronavirus pandemic.
