Related: About this forumCathedral to be Mortgaged and Parishoners Squeezed to Finance Pedophile Priests
Meanwhile, on the heels of their stunning political victory, these sickos want more money, as if they were Swahili just bleeding 🩸 their cattle 🐄. Not one of those child molesters ever went to prison.
The Archdiocese of Santa Fe is asking parishioners to help provide at least $12 million of $75 million needed to satisfy the terms of its Chapter 11 bankruptcy proceedings stemming from hundreds of clergy abuse lawsuits and one method to help fund the debt will be to mortgage the Cathedral Basilica of St. Francis of Assisi.
A June 17 letter from Archbishop John C. Wester informed parishes of the intention to mortgage the cathedral in Santa Fe, considered by many as the emotional and spiritual center for Roman Catholics in New Mexico.
If the market value is not enough to collatoralize the loan, an additional property may be required to collatoralize the loan, Wester wrote. Any property mortgaged will not be lost because of the collective commitment of the parishes to pay the debt.
In the letter, Wester wrote the archdiocese must provide $65 million by Sept. 30 and the final $10 million by March 31.

If people stopped giving the Catholic Church would pay for it. I wouldn't give them a penny.

tithing or giving any donation of any kind to any church.
If men and women did this (stop tithing/donating) I wonder what the bottom line of these churches would be in a year?

Nothing will happen to the Catholic Church, they have been holding peoples money for hundreds of years.
And BTW, TAX THE CHURCHES.

Chip them up so they can be sold in souvenir shops.
No one wants silverware anymore, because of the labor involved in keeping it clean, etc.
The Vatican silver can be melted done and made into memorabilia and sold on right-wing sites.
