Sarpy County Election Commissioner announces her resignation to focus on family
SARPY COUNTY, Neb. — The Sarpy County Election Commissioner announced her resignation.
Emily Ethington submitted a letter to Gov. Jim Pillen and the Sarpy County Board to announce her resignation, citing she wants to focus on family.
"I am committed to ensuring a smooth transition and am willing to assist in any way possible during the search for my successor," the letter read.
Ethington's last day will be April 4.
