Complex ballot issues prompt some to vote early in Nebraska

GRAND ISLAND, Neb. — Bring your ID and your notes as some Nebraskans are getting tripped up by a lengthy ballot when they vote. The number of issues on the ballot can slow things down but there are steps you can take to make the process go smoother.

Bring your glasses and read carefully, this year's ballot is packed with proposal.

“They're a little tricky,” Doris Seevers said.

Seevers decided to vote early in case something comes up on election day, a decision that paid off when she saw how long the ballot is.
