(24,087 posts)This is important. While I feel like these public lands are ours because we live in MT and these lands are in our back yard...they absolutely belong to all Americans. If any of you can chip in a couple bucks to Steve Bullocks campaign...now is the time. While some of you may never experience these wild places, once theyre sold, we will never recover them. They are OURS.

(24,087 posts)in my email box. Youre correct, it is long but so worth the read. Bullock is hands down the better candidate and it seems his only weakness might be the damned gun issue. That said...I really believe Bullock can pull this off.
I have a friend who lives outside Bozeman...she went to Livingston this weekend to hear Bullock, Williams, Graybill etc speak...she reported that the event was well attended. Have you heard any scuttle about it?

(4,342 posts)My words for his in a nutshell:
Look, I like guns, I hunt, but I think we need to keep the guns out of the hands of people who are a danger. We need to have background checks at gun shows, etc.
Everything I read about the Livingston event online was positive.
