Hannibal mayoral race narrows to two candidates ahead of April election

HANNIBAL, Mo. (KHQA) — The Hannibal Mayor race is coming into focus ahead of April's election, with multiple candidates officially in, and others dropping out.

The race now includes just two candidates.

This comes after current Mayor Barry Louderman announced in January he won't run for re-election, after holding the position since November 2023. He said he has a "couple of things" he plans to do in the future that would require him to step down from his position if so.

Other candidate Jeremy Fogle dropped out as well, after an issue arose with a military document proving five years of consecutive residency in Hannibal. Fogle does plan on running for Mayor again in the future.
